Security Requirements
for Entering West Point

This is an active United States Military Installation. Non-Department of Defense visitors are not permitted to access the facility without valid credentials and a background check. The US Army is working with Midwest GeoSciences Group to perform a West Point-issued Security Pass for registrants. All registrants must have valid identification and be included on the course registration list to be eligible for access into the Installation and to the course.

All course registrations must be made online. Midwest GeoSciences Group does not conduct any background check on registrants. Any allowance or rejection is made solely at the discretion of West Point Security.

Non-US-Citizens are eligible for accessing the installation but must have a pre-approved escort at all times.

In the case of a nonimmigrant alien authorized to work for a specific employer incident to status, a foreign passport with Form I-94 or Form I-94A bearing the same name as the passport and containing an endorsement of the alien's nonimmigrant status, as long as the endorsement has not yet expired and the proposed employment is not in conflict with any restrictions or limitations identified on the form.
